A few weeks later, we went on our first trip together, to Solvang CA. After someone (Brendan) lost the only key to the hotel room...we sat on the floor eating Domino's waiting for the locksmith to come. That's when CJ asked Brendan to be his boyfriend!

A month later, Brendan was in New Orleans for work, and CJ flew out to spend the weekend together. It was Saint Patrick's Day, and we went to the big parade down on Magazine Street. People threw cabbages off the floats, and catching one meant you were going to have a prosperous life - we caught two!

Brendan met CJ's family at Easter! We may not have found the golden egg that year, but we found each other and that means so much more! (corny - we know)

That summer, we flew to New Jersey to celebrate Brendan's sisters' graduations. CJ got to meet Brendan's whole family for the first time! It may have been really hot and humid, but we had a lot of fun!

We flew back to New Jersey for Thanksgiving, where CJ got to experience his first Thanksgiving at the Mantione's (think lots of people, lots of food, and lots of kitchen spoon karaoke).

Our first Christmas together...and CJ's first in the snow!! We flew to see Brendan's grandparents in Minnesota...where it was below zero the entire time!

After almost a year of dating, we signed our first lease together! Most importantly - we finally had TWO parking spots, central air, and our own washer and dryer!!! (in LA, this is a very big deal!)

The beginning of 2023 saw CJ hitting the road to film the first season of "Living for the Dead"! Brendan flew to Las Vegas to visit him on set, and to celebrate our first anniversary together!

A stork dropped a bundle of joy on our doorstep - we adopted Bokhee!! It's so hard to imagine our lives without the little guy, and he made himself at home right away!

We celebrated Brendan's 30th birthday by seeing our lord and savior Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour!
